Designed for 24 guests by Greek naval architects Alpha Marine of Greece, with interiors by Italian designer Cristiano Gatto, the yacht successfully completed sea trials in July and August this year.
Alpha Marine’s Chairman, Nikos Dafnias – known for designing large SOLAS vessels since 1985 like the 85m Annaliesse and ‘Trendsetting Award Winner’ 85m Alysia – comments: “Elements is a mixture of contemporary exterior styling complementing classic ‘elements’ within the interior. She is endowed with advanced engineering features which depend on latest technology and high-quality equipment – all designed and constructed under the umbrella of SOLAS regulations, which impose the highest safety standards”.

Cristiano Gatto was asked by the owner to “Create a beautiful environment! […] an interior where beauty and glamour set the tone.” Elements’ interior sports a rich decorative scheme, using precious materials, marbles, etched glass surfaces, backlit onyx, gold, silver and mother of pearl inlays.
Gatto says: “A One Thousand and One Nights [Arabian Nights] atmosphere lingers everywhere you look”. Gatto was influenced by Islamic/Ottoman architecture of Istanbul with its mosques and palaces, and this is evident throughout the spectacular interior detailing. He continues, “Each environment on board has its distinctive decoration, the red thread being the preciousness of materials and decorative elements. Engraved arabesque on etched glasses and mirrors, fabrics and upholstery but also plaster decoration on ceilings and richly inlaid marble flooring and backlit alabaster panels create a sumptuous ambiance. Distinguishing motifs of the decoration are ordered repetition, radiating structures and rhythmic patterns but also architectural structures such as columns and niches. These features, taken together, constitute a unique pattern that defines the yacht’s character and atmosphere.”

Stepping aboard Elements from the limousine tender via the folding transom, or large side platform, one is immediately welcomed by a 140sqm beach club, with white gold mosaic-finish curving bar, chaise-longues and gym. A wellness centre with massage room and hammam offers the first glimpse of the yacht’s lavish decoration. In the luxurious environment of the hammam are warm marble benches or and a raised platform – the traditional goebetkas – enjoying a relaxing massage or simply the scented steam that pervades the room. The hammam is clad with delicate mosaic tiles and richly inlaid marble surfaces. From the beach club guests have direct access to the tender garages and the saloon on the main deck. The lower deck hosts also a full beam galley/pantry, a medical room and large crew quarters.
On the main deck, the saloon is the heart of the yacht and natural gathering centre for all guests. Entering from the aft deck one is immediately struck by the flanking backlit onyx wall panels and the intricate marble flooring. Rather than one single lounging area, the saloon offers a variety of sitting areas conducive to smaller groups pursuing different activities at once.

Moving forward through the main lobby, displaying precious marbles and a glass lift, one enters the main guest area featuring nine spacious and elegantly appointed suites, all leading off a long corridor. The decoration conveys a warm and welcoming ambience. Timber floors, rich fabrics, hand-tufted carpets and adorned ceilings and details further accentuate the elegance of the rooms.
One level above, the owner’s deck is laid out as a private apartment with two large VIP suites with luxury bathrooms, office, cinema room, and an astonishingly luxurious owner’s cabin. The suite opens onto a panoramic foredeck with Jacuzzi pool and helipad where a private helicopter can land in utmost privacy. The two SOLAS tenders are recessed into this deck as well.

At the opposite end of the private deck, the owner can host all his guests in a palatial dining room, sporting two tables each seating 12. A ‘gentlemen’s room’ and cinema, with 9 reclining seats, complete the scene.
On the bridge deck, a 180-degree panoramic lounge with bar opens onto a well-appointed stern terrace. This top deck hosts also the captain’s cabin and office and a wheelhouse arranged with six display units. The the twin fixed shafts can achieve a 20-knot maximum speed and can be run at full speed for cruising. At 13.5 knots the range is 7000nm, and quantum stabilisers keep the vessel steady.
