China dealership reports 50% rise in sales
Williams Jet Tenders and its China dealership, Williams Tenders Greater China, have announced “exceptional sales success across Asia,” thanks in part to a resurgence in boating despite the global pandemic.
Following the 2020 appointment of Williams Tenders Greater China, which represents Williams across the region, sales have increased in the region by 50%. Williams Tenders Greater China is also the dealer for Princess Yachts Greater China.
“Williams Jet Tenders has seen significant demand in the market during the past year and has fast become one of the most popular tenders in places such as Hong Kong,” said Adam Waters, general manager of Williams Tenders Greater China. “This year has resulted in people boating and exploring with many customers using their boats more for overnight trips.”
Williams Tenders Greater China were appointed by the brand to expand its sales and servicing network, joining a network of over 56 dealers worldwide. Williams Tenders Greater China now represents the brand across Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China, with multiple offices across Hong Kong and a dedicated after sales service centre. They also have offices across China including Shanghai, Shenzhen and Dalian.
The MiniJet 280 by Williams is the smallest tender in the range
UK-based Williams Jet Tenders, founded in 2004, developed the world’s first four-stroke jet and turbojet range of tenders and have since become one of the world’s leading tender builders. The company currently offers a range of sizes and styles, with the smallest tender, the MiniJet 280 (just over nine feet LOA), offering exciting speeds of over 30 knots and suitable as tender for yachts as small as 40 feet. The MiniJet can even be used for towing wakeboarders.
The EvoJet 70 – the flagship of Williams Jet Tenders range
The largest model in the range, the EvoJet 70, is a 23-foot waterjet powered tender with seating for up to 13 people. An even larger flagship model is expected soon.
