A speculative second hull build of Baglietto’s T-Line 48 was discovered just in time for its would-be owner to bring custom elements of his own.

When the owner of the new 47.6-metre (156 feet) Baglietto Silver Fox was ready for a new boat, he didn’t want to waste any time. Waiting three years for a build slot seemed far too long, especially when he didn’t really care to select every little detail for a custom yacht. Besides wanting to start enjoying a new boat as quickly as possible, there were a few other wish-list items. The yacht had to come from a heritage builder and have a bit of personality; it could be spec-built, but it shouldn’t be boring. And above all, it had to suit his family’s active lifestyle. Ample outdoor areas and a connection to the sea was a must.

Cue the latest of Baglietto’s T-Line 48 full-displacement motor yacht series. The owner was immediately impressed by the yacht’s expansive outdoor spaces, light-filled interiors and modern décor, and swooped in to ink the deal on the second hull, which had begun build on speculation and was nearly complete. The sale completed just prior to the 2018 Monaco Yacht Show, where Silver Fox made her debut, allowing delivery soon after, with barely any lag time before the owner and his family were out on the water.
