Sunreef Yachts is expanding its global presence, with the first manufacturing halls at its new Ras Al Khaimah shipyard now complete.

The Polish boatbuilder says it is gearing up for an imminent grand opening at the UAE facility, which is equipped with the latest robotics.

The firm says major investments are planned for its Middle East operations, including the construction of two production halls, which will facilitate the construction of yachts over 80ft. The facility should see a fifty per cent increase in its human resources by mid-2024.

Sunreef says its new Ras Al Khaimah shipyard has been planned in response to rising demand from the Middle East, Asia and Australia and adds that it will meet the highest requirements in terms of technology and sustainability.

The first units to be produced by Sunreef Yachts in the Emirates will be the Ultima catamarans range. The company is marketing the Ultima vessels as versatile and dynamic yachts that use the latest green tech to provide a clean cruising experience; combining monohull dynamics with the stability and comfort of multihulls.

This new range, recently introduced by the company, will comprise models such as the Ultima 44, 55, 66, 77 and 88.
