The new Navetta 64 from Absolute offers owners an unusual question: Is it better to enjoy the fantastic master cabin in the bow while overnighting or just stay in the remarkable new beach transom space?
The new award-winning Navetta 64 from Absolute, released in the summer of 2020, shows that the designers at Absolute wanted to create a luxury villa on the sea. In this new yacht, they succeeded.
Nicknamed the Absolute Pathfinder, this forward-looking Navetta 64 stands out for what you find at the stern. The most interesting aspect of the new yacht is the beach club version, which buyers interested in family vacations or overnighting in beautiful bays will definitely want.
The entire transom, which in the base model is used for storage, can be turned into a comfortable double cabin with ensuite. The sofa can be quickly converted to a bed, while all the luxuries you’d expect in a cabin are available. Sliding glass doors open directly onto the swim platform. It means that a couple can wake up in the morning and drop in for a morning swim right out of bed.
During the day at anchor, the beach club area transforms into a quiet entertainment space, letting guests spend virtually the whole day enjoying the water. In effect, the Navetta 64 thus comes with a master cabin, VIP cabin and a second VIP cabin. Furthermore, the third cabin is a double stateroom with single beds. Finally, all cabins have en-suite bathrooms.
The glass doors on the transom are fully glazed and watertight, with a certified watertight seal by pneumatic gasket for safety while underway. The crew cabins are accessed via a door on the starboard side of the transom, while the interior of the beach club features comfortable access to a generously sized engine room for maintenance.
From the beginning, Absolute motoryachts had a reputation for an incredible amount of glazing and the size of the windows. That philosophy of letting in the light has not changed. The cabins onboard the 64 enjoy huge windows, even in the lower deck. This, combined with a significant headroom and flat floors, creates a great sense of space and openness.

Those large windows are present on the main deck as well, where large windows run from the aft cockpit right up to the helm station. Large bow windows let in yet more light.
The main salon area can be opened up on warm days to avoid using air-conditioning. There’s a door at the helm station and a window opposite that open up, allowing breeze flow-though. The galley, located near the aft deck, has a rear-facing window that electrically sides down, creating a continuous entertainment and serving area, while allowing yet more breeze into the interior.
The wide and uninterrupted side glass window, which runs from the aft mirror to the windshield, outlines her exterior shapes, characterized by the significant enlargement of the bow windows and the opening of the side gunwales in the cockpit.
The master cabin is parked at the bow and features enormous windows, letting the owner wake up to spectacular sea views. There is also a full-beam master bathroom, for an extra dose of civilisation while at anchor. The VIP cabin down below is also spacious and airy, thanks to its large windows.
Up on top, the flybridge deck features a huge amount of space, amply served by a wet bar and grill station. The hardtop features a retractable sunscreen that can be pulled out to cover the aft area of the flybridge deck, while a sunshade opens up in the middle, in case sun-worshippers are present.

The helm station at the flybridge area is centrally aligned and has all the same information feeds presented as at the main deck helm station. The main deck helm station features forward-slanted windows, allowing for a much better view of the sea. Comfortable seating is on hand around the helm, letting guests socialize with the owner/operator while the boat is making a passage.
Despite all the luxuries that you find on an Absolute, practical elements for owner/operators are still in abundance. The aft cockpit area is luxurious, but also features solid mooring points and side gates in the bulwarks, allowing for guests to board or disembark while moored to a dock without having to step on or off via the swim platform. The aft cockpit also features a joystick control station allowing for tight, stern-to manoeuvring, with a video screen showing a forward-facing view.
The hull design features a plumb bow with a wide flair in the hull, giving more internal space forward, while still allowing a fine entry point to cushion the impact of waves. A flattened hull shape towards the stern allows for fuel-efficient planing speeds.
Powered on Volvo Penta IPS engines, the Navetta 64 offers a reasonably economical fuel consumption at over 20 knots and a range of about 250 nautical miles. That allows owners to cruise at a relatively quick pace to their destinations so they can get to the main purpose of this yacht: waking up to a brilliant day in a beautiful bay.
