Launched at Boot Düsseldorf in January, Princess’s four-cabin V65 is the current flagship of the Plymouth builder’s range of sports yachts, boasting speed, space and library-quiet performance.

A LUCKY DAY FOR ME. The sea trial on the new Princess V65 was not simply a test to measure speed, consumption, noise and so on but a real mini cruise in Mallorca, starting from Puerto Portals to the vault of Palma, with a stop in a beautiful bay.

You may be thinking: “Do they really pay you to do this?” I admit that sometimes doing sea trials is a lucky perk of the job. In reality, an opportunity like this is not only to make a yachting journalist happy. It also helps us better understand how a boat is made, not only in terms of number and data, but also in terms of functionality and ergonomics.
