There are shipyards that struggle to keep up with production deadlines, and there are shipyards that are driven by ambition and innovation. Few shipyards move at the pace of Gulf Craft. The first hull of the new Majesty 145, named Suzie Q, has been launched at the builder’s facility in Umm Al Quwain, in the United Arab Emirates, a milestone that arrived just months after the concept was first presented and the hull sold at the 2025 Dubai International Boat Show.

It’s a defining moment for Majesty, marking the latest addition to its 40-metre-plus size bracket, with the Majesty 145 joining the Majesty 175 and complementing the forthcoming Majesty 160, due for launch later this year.

The pace of the project underscores Majesty’s continued evolution, building on a legacy that has shaped Gulf Craft’s approach to design and craftsmanship over the years. With Suzie Q delivered to her owner in May, we take a closer look at the brand’s newest model, one notable for her six-cabin layout, a configuration typically reserved for larger superyachts and one the shipyard regards as a rare achievement within this size bracket.

Designed Around Living

The Majesty 145 has been designed by Cristiano Gatto Design, the Italian studio responsible for the flagship Majesty 175, in cooperation with the yard’s in-house design team. The result distils the studio’s design vision into a balance of elegance, proportion and seamless continuity between interior and exterior spaces, with every detail considered to deliver a fluid onboard experience where design and liveability interact naturally, an approach that reflects both the studio’s identity and its broader interpretation of life at sea.

That continuity is evident throughout Suzie Q‘s 45-metre profile. Flowing lines, rounded edges and expansive glazing define a sleek silhouette, while smoothly layered aft decks create generous open spaces for sunbathing, lounging and dining. Upper decks are framed by glass bulwarks for uninterrupted sea views, and sliding glass doors on each level dissolve the boundary between interior and exterior, reinforcing the seamless indoor-outdoor living for which the Majesty range is known.

Semi-Custom, Fully Considered

As a semi-custom model, the Majesty 145 is available in multiple configuration options across the stern, bow and upper decks, allowing owners to tailor key areas of the yacht to their individual preferences while retaining the efficiency of a semi-series platform. Buyers can choose between open and closed stern arrangements, two flybridge styles and two distinct bow configurations, extending the semi-custom approach to the exteriors in a way that reflects both the shipyard’s design philosophy and Gatto’s own working method.

Life Afloat

With a strong focus on owner lifestyle, the Majesty 145 integrates expansive social spaces built around two infinity-style dip pools, one positioned aft on the main deck and another on the sundeck, both finished with glass sides for an uninterrupted connection to the water below.

The main deck pool overlooks a broad swim platform accessed by twin staircases from the lounge area of the shaded cockpit, the size of which is increased by 40% at anchor by fold-down terraces. Nestled beneath this aft plunge pool is the yacht’s beach club; accessed via a hydraulic transformer, this hidden lounge area offers respite from the sun without guests having to retreat to the cockpit.

Forward, the bow offers forward-facing U-shaped sofa seating centred around a large pedestal table, broad sunpads for guests seeking a quieter retreat, and storage space for a pair of jet skis and a tender. A dedicated foredeck gantry makes launching sea toys a breeze.

However, much of the sociality at sea will likely take place on the spectacular flybridge, much of which has been given over to al fresco dining and lounging, anchored by a 12 person round table with panoramic ocean views. This functional deck, shaded by a 60 square-metre hardtop, can be divided with sliding glass doors to create two unique spaces, one defined by the sunpad-wreathed plunge pool and dining area aft, and a pair of large facing U-shaped lounges and a sit-up cocktail bar with a trio of bar stools forward.

Interior Calm

Inside, Cristiano Gatto Design has opted for a neutral palette of soft greys, beiges and browns across both convivial and private areas, lifted by warm lighting and navy blue accents that lend the interior a soothing, inviting atmosphere. The award-winning result is an environment that feels calm and elegant rather than ostentatious, something immediately apparent as guests slip through the glass doors from the aft deck into a sublime main saloon boasting floor-to-ceiling sliding doors for natural ventilation and light, an elegant lounge area of curved couches, a 65-inch pop-up television, and a formal dining space for 12 guests.

Also located on the main deck forward is the Majesty 145’s panoramic full-beam owner’s suite, an exclusive space that boasts a private balcony, large wardrobes, a work space, and an en-suite with twin showers, crystal vanities and an infrared sauna.

The yacht’s five well-appointed guest en-suite cabins – a full-beam VIP, a pair of doubles and two twins – are located on the lower level. Each benefits from high ceilings, luxurious textile touches and ample natural light thanks to large hull windows. Luxurious marble accents and fluted wood detailing give each space an intimacy that belies their spaciousness. A captain’s cabin is complemented by four additional crew cabins, positioned for discreet service.

In a final flourish, the Majesty 145’s upper deck serves as an informal yet similarly elegant lounge and entertainment space, complete with a sit-up cocktail bar, a flatscreen television integrated into one wall, contemporary furnishings with marine-inspired hues and additional sliding glass doors that lead out to an aft sun deck, home to an additional informal dining space catering to 12 guests. On the Suzie Q, the upper deck is also home to a private gym in a space that can as easily accommodate an office or even an additional cabin.

Engineering the Experience

Beneath her semi-custom exterior, the IMO Tier III-compliant Majesty 145 is built on a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure, with naval architecture developed in-house by Gulf Craft. Power comes from twin MTU 16V 2000 series engines, driving twin screw propellers. Most noteworthy, a series of advanced technical solutions, including a heat recovery system that delivers fuel-efficient hot water and climate control; an advanced water mist fire suppression system; and a certified lithium battery storage and charging system supporting the yacht’s complement of water toys, sets the model apart within its class.

With the Majesty 160 set to follow later this year, the Majesty 145 stands as clear evidence of a shipyard, and a nation’s yacht-building industry, moving with real momentum.
