Fourth edition exceeds target visitorship by 20 per cent and doubles the number of participating brands, as confidence grows in the region.

The fourth edition of the Singapore Yachting Festival ran from 23 to 26 April 2026 at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, recording 14,280 visitors over four days. A total of 211 brands took part across yachting, marine technology and related lifestyle sectors, marking the event’s largest edition to date by attendance and exhibitor count.
“The response to this year’s Singapore Yachting Festival reflects rising confidence in Southeast Asia’s yachting market and Singapore’s role within it,” says Arthur Tay, chairman and CEO of SUTL Group.
“We exceeded our target visitorship by 20 per cent and doubled the number of participating brands, underscoring the festival’s growing relevance as a platform for international yacht brands. Increased visitorship was driven in part by the immersive experiences introduced this year.

“With encouraging feedback from sponsors, partners and exhibitors, I’m heartened by the strong commercial interest, qualified leads and transactions secured during the festival, with many planning to return in 2027. That level of engagement, together with the quality of participation this year, reinforces the Singapore Yachting Festival’s position as a leading platform for the region.”
Across the marina, the line-up ranged from day boats and sailing catamarans to larger superyachts. Among the larger vessels on display were the Princess Y95, Nomad 101, Sanlorenzo SX100 and Sanlorenzo SD118, each reflecting different approaches to layout, range and onboard use, including long-range cruising and beach club configurations.

Additional models presented as regional premieres or debuts included the Leopard 52, Saxdor 340 GTWA and Grady-White Adventure 218. Other yachts on display included the Azimut Seadeck 7, which features a fold-down aft section and beach club layout. Exhibits also included hybrid propulsion models and designs intended to reduce environmental impact.
The 2026 edition also saw its largest multihull presence to date. Exhibitor offerings included a broader mix of hybrid systems and design approaches focused on fuel efficiency and lower emissions.
Programming during the event included sea trials, educational sessions and interactive exhibits. Organisers introduced activities aimed at widening access for visitors with limited boating experience. Daily trips to the Southern Islands were fully booked, with waiting lists recorded throughout the event period.

The Spotlight Zone hosted scheduled sessions on topics including investment, design and marine technology. The Wellness Suite and Experiential Zone formed part of the onshore programme, with the latter offering water sports activities for visitors, including families and first-time participants.
At the opening ceremony on 23 April, Arthur Tay referred to regional market data from Cognitive Market Research indicating that Asia Pacific accounts for approximately 23 per cent of global yacht charter revenue. He also cited figures reported by Superyacht Times that around 65 per cent of yachts active in the region are owned by Asian nationals. Estimates from SG Marine Guide were also referenced, indicating that each visiting superyacht contributes approximately S$110,000 per visit to the local economy.

The event included participation from companies in banking, automotive and marine sectors, including J.P. Morgan Private Bank, Damen Yachting and Porsche.
International builders, regional dealers and emerging brands were present, reflecting ongoing commercial interest in the Asia Pacific market.
“The Singapore Yachting Festival has become a meaningful fixture in our yearly calendar,” says Daniele Luca, CEO of Sanlorenzo Asia Pacific and Simpson Marine.
“It attracts informed buyers and supports genuine business dialogue, while retaining an energy and openness that make it a pleasure to take part in. As we mark our tenth year in Asia Pacific at the Festival, it remains an important platform for Sanlorenzo and Simpson Marine, and we look forward to returning in 2027 with an even stronger shipyard presence.”

Attendance included industry stakeholders, yacht owners, prospective buyers and general visitors, combining a trade-focused exhibition with public-facing programming.
Looking ahead, organisers confirm the next edition will take place from 15 to 18 April 2027 at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove. Plans include expanding on-water activities such as joy rides and charter programmes, alongside further development of the Wellness Suite and family-oriented water sports programming.
