Ferruccio Rossi is also set to acquire a minority stake in Sanlorenzo.

Sanlorenzo Monaco Group Appoints Ferruccio Rossi as CEO

Sanlorenzo Group has appointed Ferruccio Rossi as chief executive of the group’s European foreign commercial companies.

In his new role as Sanlorenzo Monaco Group CEO, Rossi will lead Sanlorenzo’s commercial development in Monaco, France and Spain through the Sanlorenzo Monaco Group, which currently has offices in Monaco, Cannes and Palma.

The agreement also includes a provision for Rossi to acquire a minority stake in Sanlorenzo, subject to approval at the upcoming Sanlorenzo’s Shareholders’ Meeting, scheduled for June 2024.

The news of Rossi’s appointment as Sanlorenzo Monaco Group CEO comes after he stepped down as the firm’s executive director in April, following a decade-long career with the company.

“I am proud and grateful that Perotti has chosen to entrust me and the Sanlorenzo Monaco Group team with the commercial development of some of the most iconic territories in the nautical world,” says Rossi.

In line with the new agreement, Rossi has now resigned from the board of directors of Sanlorenzo.

“This agreement is part of the broader strategy of direct distribution of the Sanlorenzo brand in the key markets of the group,” says Massimo Perotti, chair and CEO of the Sanlorenzo Group. “This strategy has recently taken shape in the Asia Pacific with the acquisition of Simpson Marine Group, and which has been presiding over the American market for years through the Sanlorenzo of the Americas team.”
