The second 50-metre superyacht from Riva features styling inspired by Carlo Riva's classic motoryachts of the 60s and 70s
Fifty, the second 50-metre superyacht from Riva, has hit the water at the Italian builder’s Ancona shipyard. The event, held on March 8, was marked with a private ceremony. The first 50-metre Riva superyacht, Race, hit the water in 2019.
Speaking about Fifty‘s launch, Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi said: “Fifty is the demonstration that we Italians know how to imagine and realise masterpieces like no-one else in the world. And at this difficult time, my thanks go to everyone whose skills and efforts have helped build this magnificent ship. What we have written on the water today in Ancona is another unforgettable and glorious page in Riva’s history.”
With styling inspired by Carlo Riva’s classic motoryachts of the 60s and 70s, Fifty was designed by Officina Italiana Design, in collaboration with Riva’s product strategy committee, and was developed by the Riva Superyacht Division. She has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.
The “blue-tinged shark grey” exterior features materials such as mahogany, steel and glass. Inside, there are four decks that offer accommodation for a total of 12 guests in five cabins, including the master suite on the main deck.
