Just 150nm northeast of Singapore and neighbouring Batam in Indonesia, the unspoiled Anambas Islands are quietly emerging as a stunning, secluded cruising destination.
Seldom visited, the Anambas Islands just 150nm northeast of Singapore are now being recognised as an exciting new cruising destination following a recent improvement in facilities and in clearing yachts in and out.
Part of Indonesia’s sprawling collection of 17,000 or so islands, the Anambas Archipelago Regency – or Kabupaten Kepulauan Anambas – comprises 200 small islands and is part of the Riau Islands province stretching northwest from south of Singapore.
