Organisers postpone event amid global health concerns
Organisers of the Palm Beach International Boat Show and Superyacht Show Palm Beach have postponed both events until further notice amid global Covid-19 concerns.
The shows were scheduled to run concurrently from March 26-29 at the historic Flagler Museum In West Palm Beach, Florida.
“Effectively immediately, the Palm Beach International Boat Show and Superyacht Show Palm Beach have been postponed until further notice,” said Andrew Doole, president of Informa Markets US Boat Shows and George Gentile, president of the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County, in a joint public statement.
“We fully support the decision as the health and safety of our visitors, community, exhibitors, staff and vendors is our top priority. We are currently working with the City of West Palm Beach to identify a new date,” they added.
Notable debuts that had been slated for the Palm Beach International Boat Show included Vicem Yachts’ new cold-moulded motoryacht, the Vicem 67 Cruiser (pictured below), and the Grand Banks 54, which builds on the previously released models GB60 and GB60 Skylounge.
