The model's optional layout is configured for the Asian market

The first Sunseeker Manhattan 68 Pacific model has arrived into Hong Kong, after being sold last year. To announce the arrival, Sunseeker and distributor NextWave Yachting shared a scenic clip of the model arriving into the SAR underneath the Tsing Ma Bridge at dusk.
The British boatbuilder has configured this model in collaboration with NextWave with an optional layout especially suited for the Asia market.
Featuring a newly configured saloon layout with double oversized U-shaped sofas on the main deck, the Manhattan 68 Pacific has been designed to maximise entertaining space on board.

“The Manhattan 68 Pacific is about versatility,” says Douglas Culverwell, director of distributor development at Sunseeker. “In a standard configuration, owners benefit from a four-cabin, three-day-head layout with the galley set aft at main deck level. The Pacific Edition offers an exceptional amount of space for a boat of this size. The generous saloon features social seating, while the dining area has L-shaped seating and a table that can easily fold away, freeing up more floor space. There is also a galley-down option.”
The master cabin on the Manhattan 68 Pacific features a ‘Grand Master’ layout with companion seating outboard, opposite an expansive sideboard with stowage. On the portside, adjacent to the king bed, there is a chaise longue. The master cabin benefits from a private bar complete with glass stowage and refrigeration: a feature the builder says strikes a balance between “ample social spaces and generous private quarters.”

Externally there are three distinct entertaining areas; a bow seating area and sunbed with adjustable backrests, a broad cockpit with dining seating and a flybridge with built-in seating, loungers and bar all set below the standard hardtop. To the aft, an open-plan space can be designed to the owner’s preference.
The Manhattan range is proving popular with owners in Asia so far. In March last year, Sunseeker announced the sale of four Manhattan 68 yachts into Southeast Asia: one in Thailand, one in Singapore and two in Hong Kong. Culverwell confirms that five yachts have now arrived in the market over the last 12 months, with a “very strong” forward order book for the next year.
The Manhattan 68 is powered by Volvo Penta IPS, and has a maximum top speed of 32 knots. She can reach a range of 550 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots.
Last year, Sunseeker’s Hong Kong distributor Nextwave Yachting opened a flagship, 415-sqm Sunseeker Showcase in The Pulse on Hong Kong Island’s southside. The concept includes an experiential Sunseeker showroom, which allows clients to virtually walk through their chosen model with a 360-degree tour of the interior space.
