The Dutch builder has undocked its latest superyacht in Amsterdam

Feadship JuiceDutch builder Feadship has undocked the new 71-metre superyacht Juice from its giant construction hall in Amsterdam.

The owner of Juice, a repeat client for Feadship, is said to have worked tirelessly with the designers at RWD to ensure “a refined exterior flow with soft lines and distinctive creases.”

The company has removed what it calls “unnecessary elements” to create an elegant yet masculine look. The bold exterior features a walk-around superstructure, while the interior of the superyacht, designed by Peter Marino, is finished in a blend of polished stainless steel, glass and teak.

Feadship JuiceTransparent features on the interior are made of glass, including the railings and the sides of the pool, and large flat and curved glazed panels ensure unrestricted views. All structural parts of the exterior have been finished in polished stainless steel, including the bottom of the pool.

The yacht comes with three custom tenders – a ten-metre limo, eight-metre guest RIB and a rescue boat – that are launched via the gullwing doors in the hull.

Feadship says the client devoted “countless hours” to finessing details, right down to personally selecting pieces of veneer for the central staircase.

Feadship Juice with tenderJuice has a complete owner’s deck between the bridge and main decks, an unusual acquisition for a yacht of this size. She also features four guest suites on the main deck, a large beach club, a lower deck cinema, and a gymnasium on the sun deck.

The name reflects the fact that the owner is a keen collector of modern art, and the 3D logo of the name on the funnel is inspired by an eponymous 1967 work by American artist Ed Ruscha. Juice is a reference to ‘juice on top’, an expression from that world with a similar meaning to ‘icing on the cake’.

In November, the 43m Feadship motor yacht Eclipse was sold in-house by Camper & Nicholsons Asia, with senior advisor Carmen Lau representing the buyer, and senior sales broker Alex Lees-Buckley representing the seller.
