Andrew Pope, head of design at Fairline, says, “Owners will feel in total command and control on the fantastic flybridge of the new Fairline Squadron 53, a yacht that offers excellent sea-keeping in all conditions. At the same time, the space, style and sumptuousness of this luxury cruiser means that guests will also have the ride of their lives.

“The Squadron 53 is the first Fairline yacht to have touches of Italian design and features subtle Mancini influences, which have evolved Fairline’s time-proven design DNA to create a model that perfectly blends beauty, form and function. With the Squadron 53, owners receive unrivalled flexibility in layout and complete comfort and luxury in its construction and features.”

Meanwhile the British builder has also confirmed that its updated F//Line 33 will be on display at Cannes Yachting Festival this September.

Also a collaboration between Fairline and Alberto Mancini, the F//Line 33 is a stylish 10-metre luxury speedboat, released by the British builder at Cannes in 2019, with an outboards version following at Boot Dusseldorf in 2020. The newly updated edition offers a new cockpit layout, which provides both sunbathing and seating options simultaneously.

The new cockpit features ‘C’ shaped seating to the starboard side with the aft backrest doubling up as a headrest for the two-person sunbed. The cockpit will comfortably seat four to six people around a fixed height teak-top table.

Fairline’s Peter McNulty comments: “We’re looking forward to showcasing this new layout F//Line 33 at Cannes Yachting Festival this year. Having taken onboard feedback from customers to further improve upon this category-defining weekender, with this practical new layout we have answered every question asked of us, whilst still retaining the F//Line’s exhilarating performance and award-winning pedigree. We can’t wait to hear what visitors to the stand think!”

Regional dealer Simpson Marine has ordered the first F//Line 33 in Asia, which is now in Thailand. The model was built in 2020 and comes with twin 220hp Volvo D3 diesel engines delivering a maximum speed of 32 knots. She is adorned by a stylised Union Jack design reflecting the yacht’s British heritage.
