Giovanni Pomati, Nautor Group CEO, has confirmed the appointment of Matteo Gandini as Nautor Swan’s chief commercial officer and business development.
From 2014 to 2022, Gandini worked for Ferrari, where he held multiple positions from global business development manager to regional sales manager for Australasia and, finally, as head of Sales for the north Europe region. Prior to this, he worked for BMW group as central-southeastern Europe special projects specialist.
Gandini holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business management and a master in international management.
As Nautor Swan‘s chief commercial officer, Gandini will work closely with the CEO on the business development streams linked to the new businesses power and services on top of leading the commercial team together with the regional directors overseeing the implementation of sales and marketing strategies whilst maximising business opportunities.
The Finnish boatbuilder Nautor Swan says the appointment of Gandini as chief commercial officer is part of the firm’s development of a new strategy.

Nautor Swan continues to expand across APAC, and recently appointed several new dealers in the region, including in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam.
