Lürssen’s latest superyacht, Project Cali, has been seen for the first time, as it emerged from the construction shed at the boatbuilder’s Rendsburg facility.

The German shipyard says delivery of the 82-metre Project Cali is expected in the first quarter of 2024.

Lürssen’s in-house exterior designer Jim Robert Sluijter has penned the exterior concept, which is defined by sleek and elegant lines, emphasised by a reversed bow shape.

The interiors have been designed by RWD, with full details of the layout yet to be revealed.

Lürssen says the yacht is laid out for a family that loves outdoor activities, and two of the yacht’s main features are, therefore, outdoor areas. The spacious beach club on the lower deck opens to both sides with big sea terraces and is connected to a very large swim platform aft.

The 30-metre-long sun deck offers a panoramic view over the horizon and has plenty of space for daytime and evening activities. The yacht is also packed with features for entertaining: the sun deck features a Jacuzzi, a lounge area, a bar and dining area with barbecue and pizza oven and an outdoor cinema.

Lürssen has launched a handful of yachts this year, including the 90-metre Norn, which features an ultra-slim hull shape and takes inspiration from Silver Yachts’ Bold and Wanderlust

In May, the 115.1-metre €330m Lürssen-built superyacht Ahpo was sold in an in-house deal by Moran Yacht & Ship, a mere three months after being listed. The sale is among the largest brokerage deals of all time.
