The first Festa Nautica – a brand new boating and lifestyle show – took place at Lantau Yacht Club.
The three-day Lantau Yacht Club (LYC) Boat Show, held from 3 to 5 November 2023 under the theme ‘Festa Nautica’, was — by all accounts — a roaring success.
The show presented 14 esteemed brands from around the globe represented by seven dealers. The grand opening ceremony on 3 November was officiated by Ivan Lee, executive vice president of operations at HKR International Ltd; David Lee, director of Hong Kong property at CITIC Pacific Ltd; Franklin Mak, senior vice president of hospitality operations at HKR International Limited; along with representatives from Princess Yachts Greater China, Nextwave Yachting and Simpson Marine.

The honoured guests looped a rope around the ceremonial mooring bollards, symbolising the beginning of the three-day “Festa Nautica” yacht extravaganza.
A curated selection of elegant vessels was represented by dealers including Absolute Marine, Asia Boating, Asia Yachting, Marine Italia, Princess Yachts, Nextwave Yachting and Simpson Marine. Yachts on display included models from esteemed global brands such as AB Jet, Absolute, Azimut, Bali, Beneteau, Capoforte, Fountaine Pajot, Invictus, Karnic, Lagoon, Nimbus, Prestige, Princess and Saxdor.
Beyond the impressive array of yachts, Festa Nautica 2023 provided an array of captivating experiences to pamper participants. From premier luxury automobiles by Mercedes-Benz, the official VIP shuttle service for the event, to luxury diamond jewellery and spirits experiences offered by leading drinks brands including The Macallan, Highland Park, The Glenrothes single malt whiskies, and No. 3 Gin.
Auberge Hospitality’s resort leisure lifestyle brands put on premium hospitality services and experiences to suit every taste during the boat show.
Discovery Bay Golf Club offered golf chipping and putting games; Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong featured made-to-order grilled abalone and Hainanese Chicken Rice, as well as head and shoulder massage presented by Spa Botanica.
Organisers of Lantau Yacht Club Boat Show 2023 – Festa Nautica promise the event will return again in ‘the near future’.
