New model is an update on the Jeanneau 64, with larger space in the cockpit and wider choice of design options

Jeanneau Yachts 65French yachting brand Jeanneau has released images of its latest flagship, the Jeanneau 65.

The new model is an update on the Jeanneau 64, offering larger space in the cockpit and a wider range of interior and exterior design options. The brand describes its new flagship as a “yacht à la carte” — referring to the freedom that owners have in choosing the layout and style features of their yacht.

Jeanneau Yachts 65Philippe Briand, known for his range of explorer yachts under the Vitruvius brand, handled the naval architecture. Andrew Winch, whose eponymous firm is responsible for some of the world’s biggest superyachts, drew the interior design for the Jeanneau 65.

The Jeanneau 65 has a streamlined deck plan, with an attachment for the mainsheet in the middle of the cockpit. Similarly to the Jeanneau 60, she has walk-around sidedecks, an exterior galley and an optional arch.

The aft transom transforms into a sizable swim platform with access to the tender garage, while the large cockpit is equipped with tables that can be electrically lowered to transform the space into a sundeck.

Interior woodwork comes in teak or white oak, alongside a selection of floorboards and a large selection of leather upholsteries.

Jeanneau has also released a virtual guided tour of the yacht, which can be viewed below:
