UAE-based shipyard Gulf Craft has launched the Gulf Craft Group, a new umbrella group that integrates the company’s brands, shipyard and services, on the first day of the 2024 Dubai International Boat Show.

The formation of the Gulf Craft Group announced during a press conference on day one of the Dubai Boat Show, which runs from 28 February to 3 March, is aimed at boosting international expansion and streamlining internal operations. The new group notably incorporates Gulf Craft Inc., the shipyard, and Gulf Craft Maldives within the new group structure.

“With the integration of Gulf Craft Inc., our premier yacht brands, shipyard, and services under the Gulf Craft Group umbrella, we’re poised for even greater success,” says Mohammad Alshaali, chair of Gulf Craft Group.

“This move isn’t just about expanding into international markets — it’s about providing our customers with streamlined services and unparalleled excellence. This announcement marks a thrilling new chapter in our maritime journey, solidifying Gulf Craft Group as the central hub for all things Gulf Craft”.

Falling under the Gulf Craft Group umbrella is an extensive portfolio of yacht and boat brands, including Majesty Yachts, Nomad Yachts, Oryx Sports Cruisers, Silvercraft Boats, SilverCat Boats, and Touring & Utility Vessels. The Gulf Craft Shipyard, Gulf Craft Services, and Gulf Craft Maldives are also incorporated into the new framework.

In January, Gulf Craft appointed Bali-based brokerage Yacht Sourcing as the exclusive distributor of its Nomad and Majesty yachts across Indonesia.
