One of Azimut’s three world premieres at Cannes, the Grande 25 Metri is the 87ft entry model for the Italian builder’s biggest class and shows Achille Salvagni continuing to offer alternative interiors designed to attract new clientele.
Premiered at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival with her 32m sister and the sporty S6, Azimut’s new Grande 25 Metri is the smallest of a revamped class that also includes the 27m and 35m models that debuted at Cannes last year.
The new 25 Metri is not going to suit the traditionalist, but that’s not the point. The 87-footer is the latest Azimut launched into an already crowded marketplace but with an alternative design sensibility, as the Italian production-boat builder bids to attract a new type of customer into boating.
