Superyacht just one of 12 Sanlorenzo vessels to be delivered in Asia in 2020

The first Asia-sold 44Alloy superyacht has hit the water at the Sanlorenzo Superyacht Division in La Spezia, Italy, according to Sanlorenzo Asia, a division of Hong Kong-based Simpson Marine.

Sanlorenzo has sold five units in 2020 and it is one of two Asia-bound units to launch this year. The company plans to launch the second Asian purchase in Autumn.

With a fast displacement hull and built entirely in aluminium, the Sanlorenzo 44Alloy has a projected top speed of 22 knots. The interiors were developed with Zuccon International Project, which is famous for its work with the Ferretti Group.

The new 2020 model is to premiere at the Genoa Boat Show in October.

Characterised by clean, sporty lines, the vessel has distinctive cut-outs in the bulwarks to provide unlimited sea views from the main deck and a sky lounge on the upper deck.

The 44Alloy is the first of two Asia-bound units this year

The aft side of the hull comprises a spacious beach club that opens on three sides with a lateral tender garage featuring a 7m tender.

Its standout feature is the master cabin which spans three levels and covers a total of 145 square metres – a unique solution on a yacht of this size. The suite has direct access to a private outdoor bow lounge area with pool.

The new 44Alloy updates the prize-winning 40Alloy,  Sanlorenzo’s 40-metre aluminium model famous for its fold-out terraces in the owner’s zone and gullwing doors on the bridge.

Elegant styling

The unit was a great success for the firm which sold 10 vessels globally.

The 44Alloy shows every indication of repeating its predecessor’s success with five units sold even before her official launch.

“We are very proud to see this incredible yacht launched and it is exciting to follow the final stages of build and sea trials. The yacht is scheduled to arrive in Asia before the end of the year,” said San Lorenzo Sales Manager Nick Stratton.

This new 44Alloy superyacht is just one of 12 Sanlorenzo yachts and superyachts bound for Asia in 2020, a record year for the prominent Italian shipyard.
