The 12-metre luxury sailing cruiser was first unveiled by the French builder in 2020
The first Beneteau Oceanis 40.1 in Asia has been sold into Hong Kong. The sale was announced by Simpson Marine on February 26.
First unveiled by the French builder in 2020, the Beneteau Oceanis 40.1 is a 12-metre luxury sailing cruiser, with a new hull design by Marc Lombard and interiors by Nauta Design. Following in the wake of her elder sister the Oceanis 51.1, the 40.1 has a spacious deck plan, making her well-suited for family cruising around the bays and islands of Hong Kong.
The yacht comes in an array of configurations. Sailors keen on performance can choose the First Line version, with a longer mast and a greater draught. The in-mast furling system and self-tacking jib make shorthanded manoeuvring easier. A standard mast for a semi full battened mainsail is also available.
The living areas are also available in four different versions with either two, three or four cabins, to accommodate different group sizes and setups.
