Latest creation of Forlì Shipyard offers the luxurious comfort of a villa at sea and will be available in a version for Asia-Pacific market

The new Ferretti Yachts 720, the latest creation of the Forlì Shipyard, is set to debut in the summer of 2019. It offers high-end sailing and the unprecedented experience of luxury, comfort and well-being, the result of meticulous attention to the quality of design, the furnishings and the details.

Ferretti Yachts 720 sports an exterior designed in collaboration with architect Filippo Salvetti. The interior design was created by Ferretti Group’s own architects and designers. It will also be available in the Tai He Ban version, conceived specifically for the Asia-Pacific market, which includes a service galley below decks and the addition of a dining room with round table on the main deck.

This new project already made a huge splash at the 2018 Cannes Yachting Festival last year, where the first unit was sold. Numerous elements immediately grab the attention, from the eye-catching aerodynamic design of Ferretti Yachts’ signarure of sporty and harmonious lines.

With a length of 73.4 feet (22.30 m) and a beam of 18.4 feet (5.60 m), Ferretti Yachts 720 offers a number of functional and styling solutions that are exceptionally innovative for a vessel of this sise. The on-board experience stands out for the unparalleled levels of comfort, allowing owners to enjoy their yacht as if it were a true floating villa, basking in a new concept of living: total well-being at sea.

In keeping with the innovation process implemented on recent models, the external forward area stands out for its spacious, interchangeable living areas. The generous 30m² flybridge, in carbon fibre and composite materials, is surmounted by a hard top available in three different versions: fixed window, built-in bimini, or adjustable louvres. The aft swimming platform, a true terrace on the sea with convertible chaise longues and ample storage, can house a tender up to 3.95 metres in length.

The interiors of Ferretti Yachts 720 perfectly embody those concepts of well-being and home-like comfort that have become a hallmark of the brand. A large open-plan space is organised into three zones: the living area features two ample facing sofas and is separated from the raised dining area, which offers a remarkable degree of comfort for a yacht this sise. Located on the foredeck are the helm station integrated with the Naviop-Simrad LOOP systems and the electro-hydraulic steering system, developed in partnership with XENTA. The lower deck features a four-cabin layout. Amidships is the full-beam owner’s suite occupying a generous 20 square metres, while the starboard side houses two double cabins with separate beds, which share a bathroom that can also double as a day head. A VIP cabin with en-suite bathroom and separate shower is located forward. As is the case with the Ferretti Yachts 670, owners can choose between two styles for the interior design, with very different furnishing solutions and colour palettes.

The first unit of Ferretti Yachts 720, equipped with twin MAN V12 engines capable of producing 1400 mhp, reaches a top speed of 32 knots with a cruising speed of 28 knots (preliminary data). In its standard configuration, the yacht installs twin MAN V8s with an output of 1200 mhp.
