The Lagoon 40 is comfortable and clever, with plenty of smart design touches that ease handling, improve performance and free you to focus on the fun side of sailing.

IT’S ALWAYS A PLEASURE to be asked to try out a new boat in Asia. And as a big fan of catamarans for bareboat cruising holidays, I was definitely looking forward to a test of the new Lagoon 40, which was launched in Cannes in September 2017 to a great reception.

Designed by the team at VPLP – who have designed some very fast boats – she is the natural evolution of the well-known Lagoon 39 and 400 models, and sits just above the 380 in the French builder’s range.
