New partnership will combine hotel stays with luxury yachting
Simpson Yacht Charter and The Peninsula Hong Kong have announced an exclusive partnership to offer yacht charter services to The Peninsula’s guests and VIPs. Simpson Yacht Charter is a division of Simpson Marine Group in Hong Kong.
The Peninsula Hong Kong is one of Hong Kong’s best known hotels, having opened in 1928 and becoming a luxurious landmark in Hong Kong.
A new range of land-and-sea packages will allow guests to select from Simpsons’ collection of yachts and superyachts, and combine them with the services of The Peninsula Hong Kong. Yacht day-charter guests can end their day with an overnight stay at the Peninsula, complete with Rolls-Royce transfer from the pier, pre-checked-in luggage and evening wear awaiting in guestroom, a choice of distinct cuisines and the comfort of a Peninsula guestroom with mesmerizing views.
Guests may also combine a multiple-night hotel stay with an overnight yacht charter, with transfer by the hotel’s helicopter service from its rooftop.

Hong Kong is well known for its sailing and cruising locations. During the lockdowns caused by Covid-19, boating enthusiasts in Hong Kong have turned to yacht charter as a way to maintain social distance while still having fun.
