The 70ft yacht is the first in the new BGX range designed by Zuccon International Project

During the 42nd edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival (September 10-15), Bluegame is presenting the world premiere of the new BGX70 along with the BG42 and BG62 at the Sanlorenzo stand.

Bluegame, acquired by Sanlorenzo in 2018, targeting a sophisticated and highly demanding niche of passionate and experienced yachtsmen looking for small and medium-sized boats, shares Sanlorenzo’s values of exclusivity, uncompromised quality, innovation, unmistakable design and high degrees of customisation, unexpected in this size range.

Consistent with the Sanlorenzo’s approach to grow by entering new segments while maintaining the scarcity of its niches, Bluegame is adding to the existing BG models, a brand new range, the BGX line.

BGX70, the first model in the range follows the path started by Sanlorenzo in 2017 with the revolutionary and extremely successful SX line.

The BGX project is the result of the prestigious collaboration between Luca Santella, head of the Design & Style of the Group and Head of the Bluegame product Strategy together with Zuccon International Project design studio, which was responsible for multi-award-winning Sanlorenzo yachts.

Innovation, a common driver of the Group’s DNA, has expressed itself both in the external design, unconventional and sophisticated, and in the original layout, never seen before in a 70ft yacht.

While maintaining the original Bluegame milestones, with large external multi-use areas, functional and safe deck operation and high performance hull designed by specialist naval architect Lou Codega, the new BGX line is presenting the added values of large enclosed livable areas that allow the outside environment to gently “enter” the yacht.

Large windows surfaces on the main deck offer 360° visibility and the direct access from the beach area into the salon and owner’s cabin give the BGX70 a revolutionary layout.

The “unexpected” BGX70, with two units already sold before its official presentation at the Cannes Yachting Festival, seems to be well placed to replicate the success of the sister SX Sanlorenzo Line.
