A second delivery of the sleek ocean cruiser has been secured for the end of 2023.

Beneteau Oceanis Yacht 60 Taiwan

Simpson Marine has recently celebrated the arrival of the first Beneteau Oceanis Yacht 60 in Taiwan.

The Oceanis Yacht 60 is a big boat, about 18 metres long, that is sleek and modern. Similar to the 54-foot version, it is even more spacious, with almost as much space as a 62-foot yacht.

Sleek lines, spacious interiors, and thoughtful design elements characterise the 60-foot Beneteau Oceanis Yacht 60, which premiered at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2022.

This high-performance sailing vessel, from the French sailing yacht manufacturer, is said to deliver an exceptional sailing experience. The hull, combined with a powerful sail plan, ensures stability, speed, and manoeuvrability whether cruising along the coastline or embarking on an offshore adventure.

The Oceanis Yacht 60 ocean cruiser was designed in collaboration with Italians Roberto Biscontini and Lorenzo Argento – a working relationship that started with the First Yacht 53 three years ago. Featuring a gentle reverse sheer, the 18m hull profile of the 60 echoes that of its 54ft sister model.

One of the standout features of this yacht is its huge cockpit, which is a large space that is easy to move around. Wide walkways around the steering area allow you to easily move to the front of the boat without any obstacles in your way, making it extremely easy to operate.

The Oceanis Yacht 60’s exterior styling is very similar to the Oceanis Yacht 54, including the standard mainsheet arch, low freeboard, low profile coach roof and a hint of reverse sheer. Although the hull length is 70cm less than the previous 62-footer, the overall interior volume remains the same to create more space in the owner’s suite. This was achieved in part by abandoning a completely level cabin sole throughout the boat.

The yacht has several configurations, with the three-cabin three-bathroom layout proving the most popular. Owners can choose between two styles for the interior, one with walnut wood and the other with light oak, and a stylish interior design throughout.

Simpson says it has secured a second delivery for the end of 2023.
