This practical seaworthy cruiser measures 13.3m long and replaces the Swift Trawler 44
The eagerly awaited new Swift Trawler 41 renews the spirit of the practical seaworthy cruiser by Beneteau. The powerboat has all the basic features of this successful range, with clever innovations giving her a fresh contemporary feel.
The new Swift Trawler 41 is 13.30 metres long and has a beam of 4.20 metres, and is the final addition to the successful range of five long-distance cruisers by the Beneteau boatyard. These 30- to 50-foot boats will take you anywhere and their seaworthiness, incredible living space and comfort has won over long-distance boaters worldwide.
Designed to replace the previous Swift Trawler 44, the new Swift Trawler 41 is firmly in the 40-foot passagemaker category, but the concept has been given a fresh look. A mid-range boat with a strikingly stylish and aggressive profile, she reflects the spirit behind the renewal of the Swift Trawler line, which began last year with the arrival of the Swift Trawler 47.
The Swift Trawler 41 is smaller than her elder sister, whose contemporary feel she has inherited, and as ever, she takes innovation a step further. Among some of the new ideas is the galley, which has been placed aft of the wheelhouse to connect seamlessly with the cockpit and the swim platform. With the large sliding glass door open and the bar plancha grill in place, she offers a magnificent, well-ventilated, flush interior and exterior spaces for entertaining.
The clever new layout of the convertible saloon now includes a curtain that runs around the double berth, offering privacy for this comfortable sleeping space. Another new feature is the driver’s seat, which easily rotates, providing seating for up to eight people in the lounge space. Again, there is an increased sense of space and volume.
As with the other models of the range, the driving station of the Swift Trawler 41 has a large steering wheel and a side door on the starboard walkway. The Swift Trawler 41 is ideal for a wide variety of programmes and comes in a Sedan version, preferred by boaters in rougher conditions, as well as for peaceful cruises on inland waterways. The Swift Trawler 41 also comes in a Flybridge version, so that you can enjoy the open air. The flybridge has a a wonderful panoramic view and a striking amount of space and equipment.
Blue Water Cruising
The Swift Trawler 41 is a truly seaworthy passagemaker, a specific feature of long-distance cruisers. Inspired by the studies carried out on the Swift Trawler 47, her new hull has been designed to optimise behaviour and performance in both its Flybridge and Sedan versions. The slender flared bow of the Swift Trawler 41 cuts through the sea, resulting in economical fuel consumption and optimal efficiency, with 5 L per nautical mile, from 10 to 23 knots.
Designed with a choice of 2 x 270 hp or 2 x 300 HP engines, her 12.52-metre long planing hull reaches peak speeds of 23 knots. Her large 1,200 L fuel tanks and 400 L fresh water tanks give her a great cruising range. Averaging 16 knots on a cruise, she has a range of roughly 180 nautical miles. On top of this, the boat has been fitted with the on board Ship Control technology, for greater control. This centralises all the technical features on board on the same display: navigation instruments, batteries, light, temperature, air-conditioning, etc. Ideal for blue water exploration and also perfect for tranquil moorings, the Swift Trawler 41 places the emphasis on a wide variety of leisure activities. Her design is practical with plenty of storage space for a wide range of leisure equipment for children and adults, such as kayaks, paddle boards and bikes.
Family Cruising
Designed for long crossings, the Swift Trawler 41 has generous living spaces and cleverly designed fittings. Her capacity is second to none for a 40-foot boat. She is a pragmatic and cleverly designed trawler, making the most of interior and exterior storage capacity with modular solutions. She is also incredibly safe thanks to protective bulwarks and a high pulpit on the foredeck.
With three cabins, the Swift Trawler 41 cruiser has a capacity of up to seven passengers on a cruise. The large double owner cabin is located in the forward peak and has two separate wet rooms: wash basin and marine toilet to port, and a shower to starboard. On the port side, the guest cabin has a modular double berth that converts to a twin birth. To starboard, there is a lazarette area with a single berth, offering a good-sized storage space and a place where a washing machine/tumble-dryer can be fitted.
The living spaces are extremely modern and attractively bright with our simple décor combining warm coloured woodwork (alpi, teak and oak) with light-coloured linings. This warm and welcoming atmosphere can also be found outside where there are wonderful spaces to share all the fun. The cockpit places the emphasis on modularity with a sliding bench giving onto the swim platform, making movement easier and allowing you to install a table for meals. Unless, of course, you prefer the panoramic atmosphere of the flybridge, where you can enjoy a fitted galley and table seating eight people.
The Swift Trawler 41 is a perfect example of the contemporary cruiser spirit that has given the range a new lease of life. She still has all the signature features of this successful range, while enjoying the latest innovations. This new Trawler is safe, seaworthy, comfortable and has ample living space. Available in a Flybridge or Sedan version, she has everything going for her and will definitely appeal to anyone who loves long-distance cruises or weekend trips with the family.
