Over 150 guests attended a two-day showcase of luxury boats from Prestige, Fountaine Pajot, Monte Carlo Yachts and Nautique this weekend, during the Asia Yachting Open Day in Hong Kong.

The two-day showcase, which took place at a floating venue in Repulse Bay from August 26-28, featured nine different models from all the brands Asia Yachting represents.

One of the highlights of the show was the X70 — the first model from Prestige Yachts’ new X line. The X70’s novel full-beam design is said to offer the comfort of a luxury villa on the water, and a smooth transition between indoor and outdoor.

The Monte Carlo Yachts 70 Skylounge also proved popular with guests, thanks to a spacious enclosed flybridge area that is designed to be enjoyed in every season all year long.

Meanwhile, the Nautique G25 Paragon was popular among the wake surfers in the crowd. This sleek-looking wake boat is equipped with a powerful 600-horsepower engine and a configurable lounge area that converts from a social space to a viewing area, making it suitable for a wake-surf party.

“We are grateful that this on-the-water boat show turned out very successfully. It’s a great way to make use of Hong Kong’s spectacular coastline and islands,” says Asia Yachting founder & CEO Olivier Besson. “Two Nautique boats and two Prestige yachts were sold recently, we couldn’t be happier with this achievement this summer.”
