ADIBS (Oct 16-19) returns to the UAE with more than 350 exhibitors and an expected 25,000 visitors at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company marina
The annual Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS) returns to the United Arab Emirates on October 16-19, bringing more than 350 exhibiting brands, many of them new.
An expected 25,000 visitors will get a lasting taste of fine boating lifestyle over four days at the UAE capital’s boat show at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) marina. Leading names in international yachting will be present at Abu Dhabi’s largest international boat show, with their latest on-water displays and exclusive regional and global 2019 premieres.
ADIBS will host a number of new brands wanting to establish their presence in the UAE leisure marine market, plus a number of new exhibitors are bringing new technology in boating and related equipment and accessories from a variety of countries. Cutting-edge technology in yachts themselves will include foiler yachts produced by UAE manufacturers, electric hydrofoil surf boards from China, along with luxury yachts, powerboats, fishing vessels and all manner of boating products and equipment from across the globe.
New for 2019, ADIBS introduces a UAE boat-manufacturers’ pavilion – organisers had already received bookings for 700 square metres (7,535 square feet) of exhibition floor in this area placed by August, and they say requests were still coming in at a strong rate at the time of writing. This section is primarily an area for UAE SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) that are looking for an affordable way to get the exposure they need.
The International Game Fish Association will offer its interactive school of sports fishing at ADIBS this year which was last seen and enjoyed at a major boat show in the USA. There will be lots of demonstrations and interactive activities throughout the show this year to create a real buzz for visitors to enjoy. ADIBS is the very first show in the Middle Eastern boat show calendar, which has helped build its strong reputation, and the look and feel of the Abu Dhabi show is world-class and comprehensive.
